On Thursday, February 19th between 19:00 and 20:00 UTC, the minimum base fee on Base Mainnet will be increased from 2,000,000 wei to 5,000,000 wei. At current prices of ETH, transactions paying the minimum fee will cost less than a cent: approximately $0.002.
